RADIO CONTROL SYSTEM

With the Ready To Race option your Plan B yacht is supplied equipped with a FrSky Taranis Q X7 ACCESS radio transmitter and  FrSky ARCHER R4 receiver. This is a reliable ‘rock solid’ system with good signal latency and long range.

As received, the Tx and Rx will be bound and adjusted to your Plan B. You can use the screen displayed menu to select between pre-set IOM Models of ‘A’ Rig, ‘B’ Rig and ‘C’ Rig with sheet travels and rudder throws adjusted to suit the rig in use.

Although it is pedantic, with my personal Tx I have exchanged the standard Q X7 ballrace supported sticks, to those with even more responsive Hall Sensor gimbals and increased the positive ratchet strength of the winch actuation left stick. I use a shoulder harness rather than a neck strap, so as to ease any neck strain.
